A Veridem Holdings Inc. product
Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 30, 2026
Veridem Holdings Inc. wants Compose:EP to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We have not yet completed a full manual audit, so we do not claim full conformance.
How We Tested
On September 29–30, 2026 we ran automated checks with axe-core 4.13.0 against the WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 Level A and AA rules, at desktop (1280px) and phone (390px) widths, on these pages:
- Public: Home, Pricing, Help, Sign in, Reset password, Privacy, Terms, Accessibility.
- Signed in: Home hub, Dashboard, Catalog, Gallery, Handprints, Locker, Release checklist, Build, Cover Art workshop, Mood Board, Video Board, release setup, the video prompt builder, and the co-sign invite page.
What We Found and Fixed
- Edit and delete buttons in the Catalog had no name for screen readers — they now announce "Edit" or "Delete" plus the song title.
- Several text boxes and checkboxes (release checklist, EP song count) weren't connected to a label — now they are.
- A remove button was nested inside another button in the release checklist — they are now separate buttons.
- The Cover Art style previews were nested inside the buttons that expand style details — they are now separate controls without changing the list's appearance.
- Some small labels and the "you are here" product card had text too faint to read easily — contrast was raised.
- The track remove buttons in release setup, the add-tag button in the video prompt builder, and the target platform menu in the Cover Art workshop had no name for screen readers — now they do.
After these fixes, every page listed above passed the automated checks at both widths.
Keyboard and Motion
We confirmed the footer links (Privacy, Terms, Accessibility) can be reached and opened with the keyboard alone. We also confirmed that when your device's "reduce motion" setting is on, the site's animations are turned off.
Known Limitations
- Automated testing catches only part of accessibility problems. It can't fully judge things like reading order, clear wording, or how a screen reader actually sounds.
- We have not yet tested with real screen readers (such as VoiceOver or NVDA) or completed a full keyboard-only pass of every workflow.
- Some carousels scroll with arrow buttons and Tab, but don't yet support left/right arrow keys, and focus outlines on them are the browser default.
- Drag-and-drop areas may be harder to use without a mouse.
